Gateway is a partnership between Hull City Council, the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and key funding agencies.

The agency is run by the Gateway Board| and has an independent chair and its own Chief Executive. Its Core Team| of staff work with a range of Partners| to deliver the housing market renewal programme. Unlike many other Pathfinders, Gateway undertakes a direct delivery role and its core team of staff works with a range of partners to deliver the housing market renewal programme. This includes a number of support and delivery functions within Hull City Council including area based Regeneration Teams| as well as neighbourhood management and professional staff.

Hull City Council| is the accountable body for Gateway and is responsible for ensuring financial management and appropriate legal scrutiny. It also brings forward statutory processes to support the Gateway programme, including planning frameworks, compulsory purchase, land acquisition and disposal.
