You can see how the banners look on the lamp posts below and on the left are some of the designs that have already been inspired by local industry, buildings and roads.
Renowned artist Bruce Williams will be one of the judges looking for inspiration for ten metal banners to be placed on the new lamp posts down Hessle Road.
