A good move

Diana and John Worsley have recently moved from their old house on Camberwell Way into a brand new house on Alperton Close.

Their new homes is a two bedroomed house and features central heating a double glazing. Diana and John are finding their new house has benefits they had not expected:

They said: "It's lovely having the new house. It's so much warmer than our old place and we've really noticed the difference in our energy bills. It's also much bigger and more secure. We used to worry about people breaking in before, but we feel much safer here. We can sleep easily at night in our new home.

"As you would expect, the move was stressful, but the regeneration team made sure everything went as smoothly as possible and we've settled in very well. There are a lot of new faces in the area, but the community spirit is building up - it's a really great place to live."
